WHC to join with Titus Family and Marianne Williamson to Commemorate 20th Anniversary of 9/11

September 7, 2021

While acknowledging the challenges of singing during a pandemic, the World House Choir still wants to share our music. To that end, we have been rehearsing outdoors in masks since May.

We will sing on Sunday September 12 for a program: Commemorating 20 Years of Peacebuilding after 9/11 with Marianne Williamson. We do this to honor Alicia Titus, daughter of John and Bev Titus. John is one of the founding fathers of our choir and sings bass. Alicia was a flight attendant on the second plane to hit the Towers in New York City on September 11. Marianne Williamson, well known best selling author, spiritual leader, activist, 2020 Presidential candidate and good friend of the Titus family, will headline the program. The choir will perform seven songs that have been specially chosen for the occasion.

This program will be from 3:00-5:00pm on Sunday September 12 at the Urbana Christian Conference Center. The program is free, but Eventbrite tickets are needed to attend. All faith traditions are welcome. For the safety of all, the choir and audience will be masked.
