The World House Choir will join with the award winning Jeremy Winston Chorale on Saturday afternoon, May 25 at 5pm at the Kettering Seventh Day Adventist Church to sing a PEACE & UNITY CONCERT. This event will provide a space for the Dayton area to gather and celebrate the joys of our diverse community amidst a weekend potentially filled with tension surrounding race and inclusion. The musical event is part of local activities to counter the KKK rally in downtown Dayton earlier in the day.
“The Dayton area is blessed with outstanding musical ensembles that represent the many rich heritages that call our community home,” Jeremy Winston stated, “and this program is a statement to the community and the country that we stand for love and inclusion and against hate in all of its forms.”
In addition to showcasing the artistry of these ensembles, the program will feature music on the themes of peace and unity. The sixty-minute concert is free to the public and all are welcome.
