If you are committed to peace and justice issues and would like to unite with a supportive group of people to express these ideas in song, consider joining World House Choir.
We will be welcoming new singers at our next rehearsal, Monday, February 26 at the Foundry Theater on the campus of Antioch College. The only requirements are the ability to match pitch, and a commitment to attending our weekly rehearsals [Monday evenings from 7-8:30] as well as scheduled performances.
If you’re interested, come a little early [at 6:30pm] on Monday, February 26 for a short orientation, vocal warmup and placement into one of our vocal sections. All voices are welcome, we are especially interested in adding basses and tenors. We also offer free childcare during rehearsals to attract young families.
The choir will be performing in several upcoming events in Yellow Springs, Dayton and Cincinnati and will begin work on an extended piece entitled, “Bayard Rustin: The Man Behind the Dream,” which will be performed in September.
